Michael Paul.
I’ll keep this short for the sake of my sanity as I have been on planes for the past 17 hours. In February, 2008, I had been in Cocoa, FL for four months with just my best friend and a love for serving people. It was me, him, and one other girl. That’s as far as our community really went. With that in mind, there was a blog posted inviting people to camp out in our back yard, and as the idea became reality and people started responding, we started getting overwhelmed and had no clue what it was going to look like.

Today marks the beginning of a six week “spring break” program we held at the bungalow. I had no clue that some of the people walking through that door were going to be who they are in my life today. I’m so grateful and blessed by the friendships, banter, conversations, awkwardness, hurt, trips, uncontrollable laughter, and unconditional love that came out of those six weeks that had next to zero structure.

Thank you to everyone in my life. I would no be even close to the person I am today without you. I love you all.

::single tear::…im going to put on basketball shorts.
